Peugeot 205 RWD Shell
The shell comes with a T16 wide arch body kit as the original body kit (which was a narrow version) was removed. This kit is 2nd hand and is only loosely attached for the pictures and can easily be removed. The doors, boot and bonnet are also included as are perspex door and rear quarter windows.
There is a substantial multi point weld in roll cage fitted to the shell which extends through the bulkhead to the front suspension towers but I do not know its original make. The 4 link bars and panhard rod are also included in the sale.
Overall this is a solid shell that would make an excellent rally car or track day car or could be used to re-shell a Talbot sunbeam.
We have for sale a Peugeot 205 shell that was converted to a rear wheel drive rally car in 2000 and was used competitively up until 2015.
The shell has been designed to take Talbot Sunbeam front suspension and used to run a 4 linked Atlas axle but will take any axle as long as you have the 4 link bar brackets fitted. Originally the car had a 2lt ford engine in it but it has also had a 2lt Vauxhall red top and a 1600cc Toyota engine in the past.
The shell still has its MSA log book which is valid until the end of 2022 at which point it will require a new vehicle passport.
